No other place like Tennessee

Oh i wish i was still in Tennessee! This weekend was by far the best vacation I have had this year. Friday night we drove down to Celina, TN to spend the weekend with my family. Saturday morning we woke up and went to my Mamaws and Papaws house for a yummy yummy breakfast. She made chocolate gravy just for me!! We got her homemade buttermilk biscuits, which i dont know anyone else who can make them as good as her! And some sausage, eggs, and bacon. There is no other food as good as my mamaws biscuits and chocolate gravy. I could eat it for every meal. My Aunt Martha and cousin Ben were there to and i havent seen them in forever. After stuffing our faces we sat around and talked and looked at old photos, which i always do every single time I come down. Afterwards,we went to my Aunt Theresas and met up with her, my cousin Tiffany, her husband Caleb, and their son Elijah. We drove up to a store called Roses and it was super cheap stuff. I got an entire outfit for 11 bucks, which is good or i wouldnt of bought it. The boys rode the ride outside the store literally 7-8 times. That was their treat, lol for being so good in the store. We planned on doing some yards sales but we had too much fun visiting and talking, we didnt get out in time. After stopping for ice cream, we drove back to Aunt Theresas. The guys got their guitars out and started playing while Tiffany sang. My favorite part of the trip every single time I am down there is the music. They sing and play so beautifully. They did Kutless, Casting Crowns, and Third Day. And ofcourse, The Lighthouse which is my absolute favorite song EVER. I'm so lucky to have family who enjoy sitting down and actually visiting with eachother. We sat there all afternoon up until 11pm just singing, playing guitar, and talking. We had to force oursleves to get up and go to bed. We could of been there all night but we had to get ourselves and the little ones to bed for church in the morning.  Sunday morning they had a guest preaching and you could feel the message. Luke was able to stay in the sanctuary, except for one little incident. He decided to act up, Nick took him outside of the building and spanked him but you could hear him all the way inside the building crying. i'm just glad I wasnt the only mother whose child had to get taken out and get whooped. lol Oh finally someone elses child acted up to. Not saying i want other children to act up, but it is kinda embarrasing when my child is the only child being loud. Nick brought him back in church once the fit was over and he decided to be good. Boy did he cling to us afterwards though and didnt say a word. Sometimes a good apnking is what it takes. After church we went to my Aunt Theresas house to meet up with all the family. Aunt Theresa made lunch and her yummy beer battered bread. I will be calling her this week to get that recipe. We sat around, talked, and visited some more until our trip came to an end. When we took off, Luke fell asleep in 10 minutes of being on the road.whewhoo. While we were down there, Nicks phone held a record of no phone calls for almost 48 hours, WOW. We couldnt believe it, and hopefully he won't have to work the weekend we plan on going again. The trip was so much fun! God has really blessed my life with such an amazing family who loves Jesus and honors him every day. I am so excited to go down there again in less then a month.
